Overview
TastyPixels is a social platform for sharing food photos and engaging with other food-focused users.
The project combines a public landing experience, authenticated entry, and a community feed for browsing and interacting with shared posts.
Sharing and interactions
The product supports user posts, images, and community interactions. Cloudinary is used for image uploads, and JWT supports authenticated user flows.
Users can share food images and engage with posts through the platform’s community-oriented feed.
Technical approach
The frontend uses Next.js, React, and Chakra UI. A Node.js and Express backend uses MongoDB and Mongoose for user, post, and interaction data. The supplied project is deployed on Vercel.
The supplied stack also includes JavaScript and Yup alongside the frontend, API, database, and image-upload responsibilities.
